10 Best Leggings – The EasilyDressed Review

For today’s review, we decided to cover one of the most popular topics in our Facebook GroupLeggings. We tried on several different brands to give you our honest opinions on each. Scroll below and check out some of these styles!

Commando Moto Leggings

Irina is wearing: Commando Moto Leggings

I have to say that Commando leggings are worth every penny. They really hold you in in all the right places and fit like a glove. I like that the ankle is not too tight and that you don’t feel hot in them.
I also love the pencil skirts by the same brand.
However, I also tried on a patent leather pair by Commando and didn’t like it at all. They didn’t have enough stretch so even Size L was hard to get into and they were too plastic-y for my taste. They also squeak when you walk :))

Sizing: I am usually between M and L for bottoms and for Commando I had to go with L. They are very stretchy but also offer a rather firm fit, so it’s best to size up.

Best Place to get Commando:

Spanx Camo Leggings Black

Irina is wearing Military Style Spanx Leggings (available in Plus Size and Petite!)

Spanx are one of the most popular brands of leggings, and rightfully so. They can be a bit pricey but often go on sale. They are pretty thin yet sturdy, offer a great fit and control and almost feel like a second skin.

Sizing: Their sizing is a bit more generous than Commando, and in this case I was able to fit into a size M. They also offer Long and Petite length as well as plus sizes!

Best Places to shop for Spanx:

Luba is wearing Faux Leather Moto Leggings by Spanx and Spikey Boots

Luba is wearing High Rise Lustrous Leggings by Koral and Red Top

One of the companies often recommended by our contributor Luba and other group members at EasilyDressed Facebook Group, Koral is a high end brand of leggings that’s perfect for an active lifestyle. They are smooth, form fitting and super comfortable.

Sizing: If you are in between sizes, it’s best to size up!

90 Degree by Reflex

For an inexpensive pair of warm, on-the-run type of leggings, 90 Degrees are my first choice. They are incredibly comfortable and cozy – I can wear them all day long and not want to take them off. They are fleece lined and keep you warm even when it’s bitterly cold. Yet you don’t feel like you’re in a steam sauna when you wear them indoors. And they are priced under $30!

Sizing: generously sized, if you are in between sizes – go with the smaller one!

Irina is wearing Swim Leggings by Platinum Sun

Platinum Sun

I work out outdoors when weather permits, and this is my go-to brand for sport leggings. They are moisture-wicking, stretchy, pleasant to wear and come with UPF50+ protection and a cell phone pocket that keep your electronics from falling out even when you’re doing a headstand!

Sizing: True to their size chart. I am wearing a size M here.
