Theme For the Day: Create an outfit featuring Summer Whites

This dress wasn’t what I expected. It has a deep plunge neckline and I thought I would be comfortable wearing it. Turns out I’m not – at least not to take pictures in. Although I did find a bra that would work for such a neckline, this wasn’t exactly the white summer dress look that I was going for (plus, my mom reads this blog!!).
So to make it work, I added an orange bandeau and a fun bag. I wore low wedges by Lucky Brand (my go to brand for wedges this summer) in order not to make this dress any more provocative than it already is. I’m really happy with the result, it has just the right amount of summer sex appeal without being inappropriate.
