Nasty Gal is going out of business!! The entire website is 70% off now!
Nasty Gal, founded by Sophia Amoruso in 2006, is set to shut its operations by the end of February, culminating in the sale of its brand name and intellectual property to Boohoo.com, it’s British rival.
Although this American-based online retailer was fast growing at first, even opening two stores in California region, the last few years have not been so kind to Nasty Gal. According to the Wall Street Journal, the company has filed for bankruptcy last year.
The two retail locations are closing in the end of the month and everything on their website is 70% off right now!! See some of their best sellers below:
Update: Since the acquisition by Boohoo, Nasty Gal has relaunched, following a new model consistent with Boohoo.com‘s strategy. There is always a promo code running, offering you 40% off your order (try code NASTY40.) However, neither shipping nor returns are no longer free, and that is how they are able to offer such high discounts. Just like Boohoo, returns are to be shipped at your own expense to an address in the U.S.
More importantly, though, I am glad to say that the quality, style and spirit of Nasty Gal clothing have remained intact. The look and feel of the website also remained the same, as well as the awesome models displaying the clothes.
Bottom line: The service has changed, but it’s still the same awesome clothes, now at lower price!
