The very First of our Matching Outfits.
New Balance Sneakers / Quay Sunglasses / Nicky’s Shoe Lace Socks / Our Convertible Stroller
The EasilyDressed Challenge originally started with me posting matching outfits with my son when he was an infant under a hashtag #OurDailyFeet. I did it to motivate myself to get back into shape after having a baby and to give me a reason to look my best every day.
And it worked!
Not only did I loose weight, buy some nicer clothes and learn how to pose in pictures, but it also gave me two things I didn’t have before – self confidence and internal sense of happiness. And this became the driving force behind the EasilyDressed Facebook Group and this Challenge – to inspire others to find these two things for themselves.
Task for the day: Match with Someone
For this theme, coarse a friend, dress up your kid or find a piece of wall art that you match with. The point is to spread the EasilyDressed spirit and get other people to dress up with you. Post a picture of the two of you – whether it’s a friend, a sibling or your little one(s). Make sure to ask for the person’s permission to post a photo of them online prior to adding it to our Facebook Group! (you can also blur out their face before posting!)
One of the things I often get asked about is where to find matching outfits for family photos. Very often I recommend Etsy – not only because they have an enormous selection of matching outfits, but also because by shopping there you help support someone’s small business!
