I’ve been patiently waiting for the Sephora VIB Spring Sale to start this year as most of my beauty products were starting to run low. I’m not that big on decorative cosmetics these days (mom life at its finest…), but I’ve lately developed a faithful addiction to my skincare ritual. One of my resolutions this year has been to clear up my face and I am proud to say that, after several attempts, I’ve found the beauty products that work well for me.
Now that Sephora VIB Spring Sale is on, it is the perfect time to update your skincare products and maybe add a few things to your beauty regimen. To take advantage of the Sephora VIB Spring Sale, you must be a Beauty Insider at Sephora (simply sign up here to become one).

Take a look below at the things I am re-ordering and swear by:
I’ve gotten myself in the habit of following the routine below twice a day, every day. At first, I was worried that using too many products will make my skin break out even more, however, I realized that properly cleansing, toning and than moisturizing my skin has actually rejuvenated it. These are the steps I follow and the products I am re-ordering during the Sephora VIB Spring Sale:
1. Cleanse with:
Origins GinZing Refreshing Scrub Cleanser (morning) or
I am a huge fan of Origins products and they suit my combination skin so well. I’ve been using these two products for several years now, along with other items by the same brand mentioned below. I like the Scrub Cleanser for morning wash because it helps wake my skin up, while the Check and Balances Wash is a little more gentle and works well at night after removing make up.
2. Tone with:
This $10 drug store product is the most natural way to tone your skin and remove excess oil.
Bonus: applying this witch hazel formula under your eyes via a cotton pad helps reduce the look of under-eye circles.
3. Moisturize with:
GinZing Energy Boosting Moisturizer (morning) or
Tarte Maracuja Oil has been my latest discovery and I am now addicted to it. At first, I was a bit worried about applying oil to my face, but after reading so many reviews, I decided to give it a shot. The results amazed me! My wrinkles started smoothing out and my dry skin and pimples completely disappeared. It’s as if my skin was craving this nourishment and now was gladly embracing it. To help oil absorb, I apply moisturizer right after – GinZing in the morning and Night-a-Mins at night – both by Origins. I also use Origins GinZing Refreshing Eye Cream with Coffee Beans which help brighten the skin under my eyes after spending hours (and nights) at the computer.
For certain issues that come up from time to time I use the following products:
1. Dry Skin – use Origins Drink Up 10 Minute Mask
Winter has a way of sucking all the moisture out of your skin and I always use this mask once a week or so to quench my thirsty face. You can literally see your skin “drinking” this mask up and watch it absorb within those 10 minutes.
2. Problem Skin – use Origins Out of Trouble Mask
Stress, hormones and greasy food can put your skin in a frenzy and this mask is definitely a way out. Whenever I feel breakouts coming on, I put it on and let Camphor and Zinc Oxide reduce the irritation and cleanse my face.
3. Large Pores – use Perricone MD Intensive Pore Minimizer
Large pores have been a battle for me for so long and I am glad I finally found a product that helps reduce their size, not just mask their appearance (like Dr. Brandt Pore No More products). This product uses alpha lipoic acid to exfoliate and cleanse your skin as well as DMAE, which firms and tones.
